What decides (Rosenberg)

  • Sections by Zoea/PL stage with customizable photoperiod.
  • Brackish water station (Bracklish): dosing of mineral salts.
  • Flotator + microload biofilter for a transparent environment.
  • Fast sanitation: central drain manifolds, CIP flushing.

  • Circular circulation in trays/cylinders, flow distribution nozzles.
  • Heating circuit, temperature sensors in each section.
  • LED lighting with programmable photoperiod.
  • Irrigated mini biofilter and UV return sterilizer.
  • Control panel with salinity recipe and parameter log.

How the module is designed and works

The multi-tiered layout divides the batches by type and age. The streams are organized in a circle for gentle mixing without injuring the larvae; overflows eliminate stagnation and overheating. Aeration maintains high DO and UV block reduces microbial load.

Fast sanitation due to bottom slopes, central drains and accessible collectors. The parameter log is stored on the controller and can be sent to a remote archive (optional).

Typical configurations

  • The module dimensions are about 2×1×1.6 m (two-tier design).
  • Trays/baths ~0.9–1.0×1.0×0.3 m, divided into 2–4 sections.
  • Scaling by blocks, individual contours per type/batch.
  • Materials: food grade polymer (PP/PVC) + metal frame, resistance to reagents and UV.

The final dimensions and cutting will be agreed upon according to the specifications and site conditions.
