How it works and what are the options
Operating principle of the “Sturgeon” module
Water is supplied from below, rising through the caviar layer and creating a steady upward flow. As the portion is poured, the tray submerges briefly and then floats up - this gently weighs the eggs and prevents caking. Flow modes are adjusted to the type and weight of caviar.
The design eliminates “dead zones”, and the hydraulics are designed to distribute speed evenly across the section. When the water temperature/viscosity changes, the controller adjusts the flow rate.
Typical configurations
- Rulers by number of trays: 1/2/4/6/8/12/16 (scaling in blocks).
- Consumption guidelines: from ~0.4 m³/h per base module - higher with increasing load.
- Materials: food-grade polymers (PP/PVC), mesh to the desired size, frame with a protective coating.
- Options for the reverse circuit: foam flotator, oxygenation, larval circuit biofilter.
